Dr. William Greisner

Dr. William A. Greisner III, M.D.

Dr. Greisner is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. He trained in internal medicine at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. He completed his pediatric and adult allergy and immunology fellowship at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island.

He is an author of several medical articles and has presented research at national and international meetings. Dr. Greisner is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and has been practicing at Bluegrass Allergy Care for over 25 years.

Having grown up with allergies and asthma himself, he understands first-hand the challenges people with asthma and allergies face. He currently serves as Chief of Allergy at Saint Joseph Hospital, the Medical Director for a local food allergy support group, President of the Blue Grass Society of Allergy & Asthma in Lexington, KY, and is on the board for the Eastern Allergy Conference, a regional organization.

Dr. Greisner is also actively involved in his community, serving as President of the Boy Scouts of America Bluegrass Council and is a board member of his church.
